GANESHA

About This Project

This is a picture of the Hindu god Ganesh (also spelled Ganesa or Ganesha). I took this photo in the city of Ubud on the Indonesian island of Bali.

Viewed as the “Lord of obstacles”’ he can either create or remove them. He is being worshipped for success, luck or health and is considered imprtant when preparing for travel, weddings or exams. He can be gracious, kind and friendly but also mischievous and playful.

In Tantra Ganesh symbolizes flexible lovers and a gifted dancer.

The original is ready for download on Shutterstock.
